It is almost trivial to, from another thread, schedule a Runnable on the
window's thread to do work on it:
void myThreadDoingStuff() {
// ...
final int viewVisibility = somethingWeComputed;
//
final View view = getSomeViewInWindow();
view.getHandler().post(new Runnable() {
public void run() {
view.setVisibility(viewVisibility);
}
});
// ...
}
