As a user, I want to determine when to expand the status bar, not you. You can post a notification with an alert and vibration to let me know there's something to check, but I will check when I'm good and ready, not when you tell me to. If I had an app that randomly expanded the status bar when I was in the middle of something, I would probably promptly uninstall it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TreKing - Chicago transit tracking app for Android-powered devices http://sites.google.com/site/rezmobileapps/treking -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
