Hi All, I am trying to create a new Intent category similar to the one present for the HOME(Category_HOME). Currently when the user presses the home button on the phone then in the PhoneWindowManagerService.java an intent for home(mHomeIntent) starts an activity. I have created an intent similar to the home intent in PhoneWindowManagerService.java. I have mentioned this new category in my application manifest file. With these changes phone is not booting. Only i can see Android logo. Can someone let me know how the Category_HOME works ? Do i need to register the new category or something which i am missing ?
