I tried your suggestion with this code, but this throws an exception.
String varName = "R.array."+itemName[listaa_position];
int itemsid=getResources().getIdentifier(varName, null,
getPackageName());
items = getResources().getStringArray(itemsid);
The itemName[] are string-array struct in the res/values/arrays.xml
