I maintain a decent star rating on all my apps, usually 3.0 and up, but my download retention count has only gone down since December. http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=4c5752ca3e5af4ff&hl=en It's very difficult to believe users who rate an app high would then choose to uninstall it, especially if it's a paid app. Maybe one day it will get fixed, but since Google has ignored the issue since December, I wouldn't count on it.
