There is no standard mechanism for this, but there are ways through
reflection to make it happen. Although the approach would mean it may
not work on future releases of Android.

Although the approach I tried works from Android 1.5 to Android 2.1.

I can provide you the steps in a private message if you are
interested, since I'm sure it will upset many people by making it
public, since it is not "standard" and "supported".
