I am trying to figure out why my app will stop unexpectedly when
invoking the goToSleep method in PowerManager object. I code my app in
this way:
public class ScreenOff extends Activity {
/** Called when the activity is first created. */
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.main);
PowerManager pm = (PowerManager)
getSystemService(Context.POWER_SERVICE);
pm.goToSleep(SystemClock.uptimeMillis());
}
}
Friends, do you have any idea on this?
