Ok sorry to highjack the post by being out of subject but I really
still don't get it.

Why would the carrier get a 30% cut ? They are just dumb internet
pipes to our apps, aren't they, so for the market as well.

If it's Google's decision to help them promote Android Devices, then
there is still one mistery :

Google doesn't need carriers to run the market which is really just a
web service like any other.
So why don't they just keep the 30% they wanted to give to the
carriers, and open up the Market to paid app everywhere in the
world ?

And maybe put that money bak into working on the current market (hint,
hint : ) (Notice the double oos topic in just one post, I'm on
fire : )
