Hi all, I'm looking for some solid information on whether or not the Android Browser supports the HTML5 <video> tag. According to this blog post (http://developer.android.com/sdk/android-2.0-highlights.html) there is support for the <video> tag. However, using either the emulator or an actual device, I am not able to get the video to run using a webpage with HTML5 video. This page works just fine on the iPhone.
This leads me to believe that HTML5 video support is limited to Applications only. Am I wrong here? I build mobile websites, so I have no interest in running HTML5 video in Applications. Any information would be great! Thanks, Matthew -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
