If you say u set it to 480 x 320 , it will 100% go out of the screen ( you
can see from the ratio difference ).  Try setting it to half the Nexus on (
or 75% ) at maybe 400 x 240 (which is half) / 600 x 360 (which is 75%).
480 ---> 800 = add 60%, and 320 ---> 480 = add 50%. So you can understand it
will over shoot the nexus one for 1 side.

Maybe use a Phone Detection for the code and set multiple resolutions ?
