may i know why the camera.setparameters does not have any effect ? When i am capturing and storing as jpg file its giving 1280 * 960 ( large resolution ) pictures file but in real that picture is not having that resolution.
did any one tried to set the resolution ( camera parameters ) on android 1.6 .... I am more blocked here . i am always getting a file of nearly 500 K to 670 K bytes for a one frame / picture I like to reduce it below < 65 K. I am using a logitec quick cam Trying the following 1. changing the resolution in lower layer like camerahardware.cpp But in 1.6 this file is not there . only camerastub.cpp .... are there . i dont know where to change ? 2. i come to know here the lower version cameradevice class is not available. only camera class available . Is there any api which will resize the same to my requirement? ' 3. Or going for a android version after 1.6 which will give the support of changing resolution ?
