I'm getting pretty tired of handling customer support issues for this,
when people are trying to purchase/download my app from the Android
Market:

"it says its purchased, and says it downloads, but when I try to
install it just says its downloading again"

About twice a day I have to email people to tell them to go to
checkout.google.com and make sure their payment methods are correct.

In this particular case, the user should have gotten an email from
Google saying:
"The authorization of the customer's credit card failed. Google has
sent an email instructing the customer to update their card. If they
fail to provide a valid card within 7 days, this order will be
automatically cancelled by Google."

But for some reason they don't see this, and they email me instead.
Then there's the people that don't email me and don't do anything,
their orders just get cancelled eventually, and I lose sales.

I think Google Checkout/Android Market need to fix this. If its
happening a few times a day for me, just multiply that by the number
of paid applications on the market and you'll see its a much bigger
issue. If Google Checkout can't authorize their credit card in 20
seconds, they should let the user know this and not make them think
that everything is hunky dory.

Hey I'm loving Google Checkout/Android Market in general, but this can
definitely be improved.
