Why not? If this is just a config screen (i.e., not something the user is
interacting with frequently or dynamically), what's the difference if they
move to a new screen or pop up that lets them configure the players?

Another option: instead of showing a list view, show a simple linearlayout
with 1-4 icons representing the players. These could be buttons that, when
clicked, bring up the player details.
