Hi TreKing,

         Let me tell you why.

Our UI Team has some professional idea that the menu layout like I
told is more friendly to the customer in my application, and I can implement
the menu as such in Activity but failed in ListActivity with our own menu
implementation.

I am here just looking for solution and suggestion in technology.

         Thanks,

Best Regards,

D.Y

Actually, I want implement my own menu in ListActiviy on WVGA(800x480)
device, but I don’t know how to create my own menu, would you please give
me some hints or reference code?

I have no idea what to tell you - I have not done anything like this. I
would start by hitting up Google and "Android Custom Menu" or some such
search.

Better question: why, exactly, do you want to customize the menu as such?
This strikes me as one of those things that's more trouble than it's worth
and completely unnecessary to the actual purpose and functionality of your
application.
