The problem is observed during RTSP streaming of video (H.264/MPEG4) and audio AAC on Android devices (Cliq OS 1.5/Droid OS 2.1) in case the bandwidth reduces and then increases.
As soon as the data rate increases after a bandwidth dip, an info/ warning (1,14) indicating PVMFInfoOverflow appears in the debug monitor. Subsequently if the bandwidth stabilizes at a higher value and the data rate continues to be constant at the higher value, video corruption is seen and it simply persists. RTCP receiver reports indicate an increasing cumulative packet loss. An interesting observation is that this problem occurs only after a bandwidth dip and rise - for instance dip to 150Kbps and then a rise to 500Kbps. In case the bandwidth were constant at 500Kbps, no problem is seen. Any clues on what could be causing this problem on bandwidth dip and rise? Is this a known issue/ is there a way to work around this ? Regards, Aloka -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
