Hello - I am creating an app that uses GPS coodinates. Can anyone help me with the following?
1) I want to ensure I am using a current 'fixed' location and not a previously stored one, so I am trying to avoid using getLastKnownLocation, but cannot seem to figure out the alternate to this? 2) What is the best way to display a "please wait" message or something along those lines while the GPS service is attempting to get a fix (and ideally periodically allow the user to cancel out)?
