Found even more issues...  Before the media player could download
continuously a lot of data before start was triggered.  This allowed
to set a big enough buffer before playback.  Now it reaches a limit
and does nothing... doesn't even let you know it has stopped
downloading!!!!  How is this supposed to help developers! grgrgr
