Hi, I have written a class which extends the Service class of android and would like to launch the service during device boot-up. From the service I would like to receive the intents such as boot completed and screen off and on.
Currently I am using a BroadcastReceiver to get the boot completed intent and then on starting a service to receive screen on and off intents. But I would like to remove either the broadcast receiver or the service. Any inputs.
