I don't know anything about this, but I do have beta testers reporting a phone reset on the Incredible if my downloadservice runs for much longer than ten minutes. I had thought that maybe startforeGround was too intense and tying up the CPU, but based on this information the opposite may be true. Maybe it's killing the service because it hasn't been deemed important enough.
I could see that there could be a family of bugs in services on the Incredible. I'm hoping to meet with someone local who has one.
