Hi Tad,
Is the problem is occurring in eclipse?..If so
Your problem could be related to ADT plugin.Check for Available
software sites in eclipse.remove the old ADT from there and update
with new ADT available.
Later go to Available packages and update your SDK.If you still have
the problem dont hesitate to come back.
