Shall we give root permissions for android application?
My requirement is i want to execute a c program using jni
That contains some functions like umount etc.
I tried in the following way

System.loadLibrary("myjni");
}
Process p=Runtime.getRuntime().exec("su");
int value=getValue();where getValue() is a native method contains umount() function call.
