Probably outside of the Official Android, I think there will/should be many tutorials that plunge into how to do different things. This may be the great selling point for developers. The ability to do this or that.
If there's a sample app, then maybe it becomes a tutorial when there's alot of explanatory text. If you look at the android.text.*, it's not really possible to figure all the amazing things to do just be looking at the API. There are 1000's of intricacies in the Android API. So how are those intricacies brought out to the attention of developers?
