Well... managing resources or at least being considerate in your
development efforts is the bread and butter in mobile. Memory usage,
processor loading, battery drain.
If you can't handle it you'll certainly be better of on the desktop
where you can leave data sitting on the heap, allocate memory at any
time and keep threads dangling around.
