I have to concur. Docs.google.com is one of my favorites online applications. I've tried it in the Android emulator and it is totally non-editable. It's worse than that though, it's just straight html in that form and is practically unusable even for reading (I'm talking about spreadsheets specifically). This is a detrimental issue from my perspective. I use docs.google.com everyday and use it for sharing documents with other users. Many of them use Word and so, docs... becomes an interoperability tool for us. It seems to me that the real issue is lack of a descent browser in android. Will there be a version of Chrome for the G1? If so, that would be an excellent solution.
