Honestly -- While the strategy of Google to encourage development of bells/whistle apps is nice -- and generates some interest in Android platform, I'm very surprised there was no specific focus (ie. $$$ awards) for business-class applications for Android.
While I'm happy to play with all fun apps while at bar -- the reason I BUY (or burn cycles installing) an Android phone would be for business- class apps. How about any/all the following: IPsec VPN client SSH client SCP/SFTP client telnet RDP remote desktop VNC client IM aggregator -- similar to Trillian Twitter client -- similar to Twibble SNMP mgmt statistics gather Kismet similar (WLAN capture) Wireshark similar (LAN capture) google apps plugins (ie. edit local, post to shared google app-space) blogspot plugin (ie. edit local, post global) etc.. blah...blah...blah.. -GA --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
