Juan, I think the 1.5 million figure is probably those who have registered interest. In the UK, which is suppose to receive the G1 a month after the US, you can still only register an interest (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/whats-hot/), so there's a possibility someone somewhere may have been considering those as pre-orders.
I think it depends on what you define a pre-order as, is it someone who has ordered prior to release or is it someone who has shown an interest buy has yet to order? Al. jtaylor wrote: > Caution.
