Until Windows Mobile 5 and 6 came along, there was no Windows Mobile camera API for JVM developers to build on for adding Java ME MMAPI video capture support, while one of the main Java engine developers for HTC, Tao Group, went bankrupt a few years ago. Things then mostly stalled for a while. In principle the situation *could* be better now, but I still do not read any reports about Java ME based camera apps running successfully on Windows Mobile devices. I hope to be proven wrong though. Anyone who can run my Java ME app (JAR executable file)
http://www.seeingwithsound.com/phone/The_vOICe.jar on a Windows Mobile camera phone?
