As the Android SDK being released recently, the licenses for the fonts included in the SDK start to bring to my attention. I recall the early version of the Droid Font Families are licensed by Ascender under a proprietary license (i.e. EULA, http://www.fontmarketplace.com/info/eula.aspx ). In the latest SDK, the copyright field of the font files is replaced by Google Inc, however, the licenses for the fonts is not clear (not present in the font).
