Along with mounting and dragging-and-dropping files as your phone is
connected, Sailing Software has a product to synchronize iTunes
(windows/mac) playlists to your device. It's not presently listed as
supporting Android, but after the author said it shoudl work, I tried
it - and it did.

It's free to try, but faster synchronization (by copying only new
files) necessitates a license purchase.
I'm hoping for a music player that supports playcount updates and
scrobbling, myself.
