The way the T-Mobile G1 is made, it's almost impossible to use it
completely with one hand in vertical mode because the back button is
way down at the bottom and difficult for the thumb to reach.

I say "almost impossible" because the only answer that I've found is
to flip the phone 180 degrees, so it is upside down with the screen
facing up, hit the back button with my thumb, and then flip it again
back to the normal position. While I have become quite adept at this,
it is a) ridiculous and beneath my diginity :o) and b) it's only a
matter of time before I drop it onto the subway tracks or into the
oncoming path of a steamroller.

As a solution, I propose a simple application that will turn the upper
right corner, approximately where the time is, into a back button.
That's it. Nothing else. That space does nothing right now except
flash the date and the windowshade, and it could still do that.

I don't know the first thing about building apps for Android, or else
I'd do it myself.

This humble idea is free for the taking. I make no claims on it. Code
with speed, my good people!
