As developer who plans to charge for app downloads in order to control the hits to a brick-and-mortar server, I am not too crazy about the idea of .apk files being transferred off handsets, enabling uncontrolled redistribution. I haven't an opportunity yet to research the avenues that an .apk file can take off a handset, but SD transfers would certainly open an easy one. In the fight between the interest of controlled app distribution vs. the satisfaction of hypertrophic desires to zap apps: I'll vote for controlled distribution.

I'll take this before an on-screen virtual keyboard. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
