First impressions; - The IMAP handling in the Email client doesn't understand hierarchical folders. You just get one long list of Foldername\1 Foldername\2, etc....
-Wi-Fi reception seems weak.I get an excellent connection on an N81, N810, N95, and an eeePC 901, but the G1 is only showing 2 out of 3 bars (yes, Wi-fi strength is shown in bars). - Market offerings are exactly the same as in the US, right down to offering T-Mobile USAs hotspot connector and nothing from T-Mobile UK. - The keyboard is decent for thumb typing, and has no changes from the US model (none weere needed, the R & T already have the currency symbols for the UK and Euro-zone). - The trackball feels like a minature version of the thing you get in roll-on deoderants. - The camera sucks. No flash, no zoom, not in the right place for video calling. If it wasn't for shopsavvy I would be wondering why it wasn't on the front of the device (screen-side). - The GPS is what I'd expect from a 'phone, slow to lock on, but does get there eventually. - The screen is a fingerprint magnet and it doesn't come with a microfibre cleaning cloth :(.
