Hello, Addressing this email to all that have a need to install applications to their new G1 devices and are looking for an easy way to do so.
To ease the install of applications to your G1 phone, you can use SAM ( slideme.org/sam & slideme.org/sam2 ) You only need to install a single Application Manager 'SAM' to be able to install ALL applications(hosted on SlideME.org) with ease via OTA(over-the-air) You can upload your ready to publish .apk to SlideME.org as a developer. This will make your application public and available to download or purchase by all SAM users. You also have the option to unpublish your application from SlideME anytime you wish to restrict not have it publicly available. If you have SAM already installed, you will need to first uninstall(for now) the early version of SAM and then visit slideme.org/sam2.apk to download the latest. Otherwise, simply visit slideme.org/sam2.apk from your phone's web browser to install SAM 2. If for some reason, you have installed the latest SAM, without uninstalling the earlier version, you will need to re-install slideme.org/files/sam-2.0.2.apk (our earlier version). The latest SAM can always be downloaded from a common link: slideme.org/sam2.apk Feel free to test and let us know your thoughts.
