An Australian manufacturer has announced plans to sell an Android
device this year for $AU 199. Given what has happened to the
Australian dollar that = dirt cheap. That is the outright price. If
it is for the Australian market I would expect it to have tri band GSM
and it will use 2100 and/or 850 for 3G but hopefully 2100 as most
networks here use that.
If it has more than 128Mb for storing applications he could be on to a
winner ;)
