One of the problems AndAppStore has had is not providing hosting so some developers haven't been able to get an APK available in the way that the G1 requires.
We've now announced[1] the ability to allow developers to upload apps to S3 via AndAppStore so hopefully we'll see some of the apps which aren't available start appearing. Al.
