We are pleased to announce the release of SAM 2.2. This is a significant release that includes using a notification system for downloads similar to the Android Market. There are also numerous bug fixes (special thanks to Peli for telling us how to fix the black highlighting problem). We also temporary removed the 'My Downloads' view, as people reported having problems with the application not installing and no longer being able to re-download.
This new 2.2 version uses a different package name, so you will not need to uninstall the old SAM (although this is recommended). We have a new icon and the application will be located under SlideME 2.2 in the menu. Any problems with the upgrade, just let us know: http://slideme.org/sam2.apk.
