Just got an upgrade for my UK G1 by using the AnyCut "Device Info" method, it updates the 'phone from;
kila_uk-user 1.0 TC5-RC7 112931 to kila_uk-user 1.0 TC5-RC8 116470 (showing some pretty pictures along the way). The upgrade doesn't say it, but it's a good idea to have your G1 charging when you do the upgrade. Al. http://andappstore.com/ P.S.
