Fred, As I understand it Track dog scans the apps on my G1, uploads the version information to your servers, compares it with the versions other people have uploaded, and lets me know if someone has uploaded a more recent version. If there is a more recent version it allows you to install it from the Google Marketplace.
Are you planning to allow non-Marketplace apps (such as the AndAppStore client) to be tracked?, and if so how can download URLs be submitted to you?
