Hello,

I'm having a problem with my G1 where randomly, I wont be able to
place an outgoing call at all until I reset the device. I just tried
to dial out to voicemail and the phone simply says "call ended" and
returns to the dialer every time I try. On the contrary, incoming
calls are coming through fine without issue.

I'm trying to figure out if it is my phone or T-Mobile's network, so I
fired up DDMS and there aren't any errors in the log, however whenever
I try to initiate a call through the "radiooptions" command in /system/
bin, the phone simply ignores it. After performing a reboot the same
command works fine though.

My G1 is rooted and running RC30 but no system files have been changed
except for the certificate that T-Mobile/HTC/Google uses to perform
OTA updates. I can't imagine how that would impact operation of the
phone though... any ideas?

- Justin
