Skype Lite uses GSM for voice to connect to a phone number that serves as a
gateway to your dialed number. That second step is voip. So, yes, it uses
your phone minutes, sadly.

So... is this like iSkoot, in that it uses GSM for voice and data
connections for chat and presence... or do we have a full fledged VoIP
client? (i.e.- I don't wanna use my minutes!) :)
