Thanks for that. I had a quick look at these guides before posting this discussion. The big thing that killed it for me was missing Gmail / Market etc. I was hoping there was a way to patch these in, but I guess not.
Do you know what is going to happen with the ADP1 and 'official' updates? Am I going to have to hack around with T-Mobile G1 updates or will there be custom builds (like what is currently on the phone)?
