It works just fine for me, at least in the Philadelpha-Boston corridor.

Which will get you sued by somebody for defamation, if it is
demonstrated that you are willfully spreading disinformation.

Now, if you can demonstrate that every G1, or even a substantial number
of G1s, have this problem, then you certainly have a case. However,
since ~1 million of these have been sold, and since this is the first
I've heard of this issue, the odds are in favor of this being something
particular to your device, SIM card, or account. Albeit a problem
exacerbated by ineffective T-Mobile support.

Yes, the G1 can. Yours perhaps cannot.
