Yesterday (Saturday) Google maps stopped working on my phone. First I
thought it was a problem in my app, but the maps app that comes with
the phone stopped showing maps too. Then I got an error message like
"There is a connection problem.... we'll keep trying". There is a
problem report about that <a href="http://code.google.com/p/android/
issues/detail?id=1885">here</a>.

I reset the phone, but now the problem it has that it can't register
with Google, it says "There is a problem communicating with the Google
servers". I called my provider (which doesn't support the phone, I
have a dev phone), they confirm that my 3G should be working fine. I
checked if my Google account still works and the password I typed is
correct. Does anyone else experience thisr problem? My phone doesn't
work any more, can't even make phone calls. Is there any way I can get
my phone started?
