As a G1 user (new to the g1 scene) i thought i would post a few things that i have found could do with an update -
Being able to create shortcuts in the pull up menu - yes, i know about the app that lets you create shortcuts, but these can only be placed on the home screen(s) and this space eventually runs out. I know its repetitive, but true, an on screen keyboard - it would be helpful and time saving The function to allow a user to switch in and out of root - like sudo, so a user can enter root, close energy wasting apps and then exit root before doing any damage... Of course a task manager that did all that for the user would be even better, rather than making the user attempt to gain root access. Letting apps in the market-place be organized by star rating - there is currently popularity and by release date, but it seems useless having a star rating if they can't be organized by it.
