>From the company that bit its teeth on search, you would expect that
their OS would use the search feature better.

Someone from Google go pick up any Blackberry. Go to the Search
application. type something into it that you know is on the phone a
buisness name, a date, part of a phone number, a detail somewhere in a
contact card that is not in the Name position. and POOF. the phone
will find it

now pick up your android phone and do the same thing. oh wait, there
is no way to search the phone.

ok go to the contacts say you dont remember the sales rep name, but
you know his business, or what street the buisness is on. type that
in. hmmm.... nothing.

I miss this about my blackberry

Go to market type in 'score' you don't get any of the sports
scoreboard apps, not even
googles own scoreboard with 'score' in the title. Type in 'nav' and
you don't get andnav.

The only way to find anything in this phone is by scrolling and
clicking on everything in sight or by knowing what you already want.

I though you are a search giant. THE search giant.
Give us the ability to search.
