I don't have a solution, but I have the same problem as well. My ADP1
was working fine in the States on T-Mobile, but as soon as I get to
Canada and pop in my Fido SIM card it tells me that I am roaming.

It's rather annoying since the phone then needs to have data while
roaming switched on in order to make a data connection. That's not
something I want when I just happen to be near the US border and a
data connection leaks across.
