I think all this worry about chargebacks is overblown. The refund policy is there to help prevent chargebacks. If the user just requests a refund normally using their phone then you will lose the money for the sale, but you won't get a chargeback fee. If the user waits until after the automatic refund period has elapsed, then they can still e- mail the developer directly and ask for a refund, and the developer can choose whether or not to provide one. You'll only get a chargeback fee if the user hasn't bothered to ask for a refund, but can be bothered to call up their bank to do the chargeback. As I understand it, banks don't like chargebacks either, and I imagine the first question they ask is "did you ask for a refund from the seller directly?" -- Jon --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
