With the marketplace picking up and people installing more apps, having to scroll through a long list of apps in the app launcher may not be ideal. How about creating and assigning categories to each app (ie: all, games, tools, system, etc) and having the app launcher change to a filtered category view by swiping left or right?
Sure, we can just add shortcuts to different 'desktop' panes or subdivide even more with folders, but I kind of like to see my wallpaper. And when more widgets are allowed, I rather see those than a sea shortcuts that reminds me of my PC's cluttered desktop. I got the idea from watching the TealOS product video: http://www.tealpoint.com/softos.htm at 2:10, it'll talk about sideswiping to change categories in the App Launcher. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
