So with iPhone OS 3.0, developers would be able to charge users in the
app, but that's available only to paid apps. I guess Apple is just
trying to prevent the app store from becoming a place full of free
trials. But does it make sense to allow users always try first before
purchasing?

IMHO Android Market should allow in-app purchase too and encourage
this free trial model: i.e. for a paid app, by default it would be
free trial, it's up to the developer how to charge users after the
trial, be it by subscription, or purchasing extra levels or enabling
full features etc. In the app description in the Market, there should
be a dedicated section to tell users the exact cost after trial and
how they will be charged.

What do you guys think?
