And that is the US G1 ad, in the UK we get a T-Mobile as with load of people

which goes on about sharing experiences, but then we get a cut one showing
the G1 can only watch stuff like that 

I can't count how many iPhone ads I've seen on UK TV recently covering
everything from restaurant recommendations (urbanspoon) to last.fm.

Yep. This is exactly what I have been talking about as well. Plus, don't
forget--the iPhone ads are still coming, while the G1 ad here (I
believe) is from months ago.
